Newly promoted side NEC FC have offered midfielder Allan Mugalu a two-year deal following the expiry of his contract with Arua Hill Sports Club.
The Bugolobi-based side have reportedly agreed terms with Mugalu, also positive about the deal with the StarTimes Uganda Premier League debutants.
According to a reliable source, Mugalu and NEC are in advanced talks with the club offering the midfielder a contract of two years.
Mugalu is among the several players whose contracts expired at Arua Hill.
The transfer window has witnessed the exit of key players including; captain Rashid, Richard Matovu, Rogers Omedwa, Richard Anyama, Isaac Okello, Innocent Maduka, and Bright Joseph Vuni.
Mugalu had an impressive performance for the Kongolo featuring in 39 matches across two seasons. Last season, he featured in 19 matches as Arua Hill finished in fourth position.

Goalkeeping coach, Yusuf Ssenyonjo has left the Arua city-based team for a new challenge with Uganda’s record champions SC Villa.
NEC are also reportedly interested in Arua Hill goalkeeper Richard Anyama following the exit of Braddy Jeans Wokorach.
The club also appointed a new technical staff with former Mbarara City head coach Hussein Mbalangu steering the department and former West Nile Province coach Dudu Bosco as assistant who are showing great intent of building a strong challenge ahead of the 2023/24 season.
