Leicester City are preparing to approach Arsenal for the signing of their star player Reiss Nelson.
The Gunners are looking to offload some of their players this summer with the likes of Eddie Nketiah, Smith Rowe and Jakub Kiwor set to leave.
Nelson, who rose to the senior team from Hale’s End has been at the club for a long time but found it hard to get enough playing time under Arteta.
The winger is now been courted by newly promoted side Leicester who are looking to sign the Arsenal star.

Nelson on Leicester's radar
Reiss Nelson who penned a new contract until 2027 with the Gunners could leave the Emirate this summer.
According to Fabrizio on X, “Leicester City open talks with Arsenal for Reiss Nelson. Loan deal with obligation to buy, in talks over financial terms with Arsenal.
“Leicester, confident they can persuade Nelson if the clubs come to terms as he previously worked with Steve Cooper.”
Newly promoted side Leicester are moving swiftly in the transfer market as they look to start well in the new Premier League season.
The Foxes are looking to sign Nelson on loan from Arsenal with obligation to buy at the end of the Premier League season.
Leicester are hoping they can convince Arsenal to approve a loan deal instead of paying a transfer fee for the youngster.
Meanwhile, the forward is currently with the Arsenal squad for their preseason tour in the USA and could feature in their first game against Bournemouth.
