The upcoming Women's National Super League in Kenya, split into two zones, showcases top teams from various regions, promoting talent and competition.

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has unveiled the eagerly awaited lineup for the upcoming FKF Women National Super League set to commence in the 2023/24 season.

The much-anticipated league is poised to elevate women's football in Kenya to unprecedented heights, fostering fierce competition and nurturing budding talents across the nation.

According to a statement released by FKF, the newly structured league is set to invigorate the women's football scene, divided into two dynamic zones, with the promising goal of expansion in the near future.

“The teams participating in the FKF Women National Super League have been selected from those relegated from the 2022/23 FKF Women Premier League season and the top-performing teams in the 2022/23 final FKF Women Division One league standings,” reads a part of the statement.

Zone A will witness fierce clashes between teams hailing from Nairobi and the Coast regions.

The roster includes powerhouses like Uweza Women, Mathare United Women, and Sunderland Samba, all poised to ignite the field with their passion and skill.

The inclusion of Mombasa Olympic and MTG United adds a coastal flair, ensuring a blend of diverse playing styles that will keep fans on the edge of their seats.

With the likes of Macmillan Queens, Kangemi Starlets, and Kayole Starlet also in the fray, Zone A promises a spectacular showcase of football prowess.

Meanwhile, Zone B will see teams from the Nyanza and Upper Rift Valley regions come face-to-face in a battle for supremacy.

The stage is set for Kisumu All Starlets, Kisped Queens, and Gideon Starlets to exhibit their talents on a grand stage.

Royal Starlets and Gene Queens from the Upper Rift Valley add a new dimension to the competition, while Eldoret Falcons and Kolwa Falcons promise to raise the bar with their competitive spirit.

The league's kickoff date is tentatively scheduled for September 30, 2023, sending waves of anticipation throughout the football community.
