The announcement, which was made via the club’s official website, saw the club’s Sporting Director, Denis Hamlet state that Kasule had the qualities they were looking for as a club.
“We are looking forward to adding a player like Ibrahim to the group, and he has the qualities that we are looking for when deciding how to improve the current team,” Hamlet told club media.
Ssekagya added that Kasule’s success in Uganda with the Purple Sharks was the main reason for signing him.

The former Wakiso Giants midfielder is expected to be unveiled by the New York-based side in the coming hours.
“Ibrahim and the skills he can provide are going to fit right in with the squad this season.”
“His success in Uganda at such a young age was a main factor as to why we decided to bring him in for this season,” Ssekagya said.
Kasule Ibrahim joins up with fellow compatriots Frank Ssebuufu and Steven Sserwada.
New York Red Bulls II compete in the MLS NEXT PRO league, which is classified as part of the third tier of the United States Soccer system.
The league currently comprises 27 sides of the MLS clubs.
