Newly promoted Uganda Premier League side NEC FC have confirmed the signing of Enock Ssebagala from Express FC.
Ssebagala’s contract with Express FC expired at the end of last season, opening a window for any other club interested in his services.
He has since been training with NEC and was unveiled by the club Tuesday evening.
“NEC FC is delighted to announce the exciting addition of Enock Ssebagala to our squad. The creative midfielder joins us from one of Uganda’s oldest and most renowned football clubs, Express FC, where he showcased his exceptional talent for four seasons,” NEC announced through their website.
Ssebagala has a history of playing Futsal and joined Express at the start of the 2019/20 season.
He went on to be part of a dominant Express side that won the 2021 Startimes Uganda Premier League and CECAFA Club Cup.

Kasule is already a popular name in New York less than a year since joining the club in March from Wakiso Giants in the Uganda Premier League.
Ssebagala is one of the several players who have joined the newly promoted side.
Former SC Villa and Wakiso Giants FC goalkeeper Samson Kirya is one of the other big-name signings.
Brian Kayanja, Isaac Balyejusa, Ronald Owiny and Allan Mugalu are some of the other new faces at NEC.
