FOOTBALL: KCCA FC is open to Brian Aheebwa's stay
The 25-year-old had a brilliant start to life at KCCA, scoring on his debut against Soltilo Bright Stars FC and later bagging a quadruple against Onduparaka FC.
Talks are ongoing between the player and KCCA to try and hand him a new short-term contract at Lugogo, but other teams are closely monitoring this situation.
Kitara FC and NEC FC, who gained promotion to the top flight ahead of the 2023/24 season, have already contacted the player, Pulse Sports reliably understands.
However, the player's preference is to first listen to the Lugogo-based outfit's proposal.
Should moving away from Lugogo become the only option, Kitara could have an edge over NEC in landing the forward.
