The Brazilian superstar has reportedly cautioned Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo about the newly-signed Frenchman.
Former Scotland and Chelsea midfielder Craig Burley has called out Neymar after the former Paris Saint-Germain star reportedly warned Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo about Real Madrid’s star arrival Kylian Mbappe.
What Neymar allegedly said about Mbappe
According to journalist Cyril Hanouna, the former Barcelona forward cautioned the Los Blancos stars about Mbappe, recollecting how playing with the 2018 World Cup winner was “hell”.
The 32-year-old played with the Frenchman for six seasons from 2017 to 2023 before joining Saudi Pro League outfit Al Hilal and is rumoured to have sent a letter to Vini Jr. and Rodrygo.
“The Brazilians [at Real Madrid] are friends with Neymar,” said Hanouna. “It has always been a war between Neymar and Mbappe. Neymar has sent a paper about Mbappe to the Brazilians, telling them that it was catastrophic, that it was hell.”

What Craig Burley said
Speaking on ESPN, Burley dismissed the 2015 Champions League winner's alleged note of warning to Mbappe's new teammates, labelling them "pathetic".
“Can we file this in the pathetic filing cabinet? We’re talking about grown men here,” said the irked pundit. “I’m sure the Brazilians at Real Madrid will figure this out by themselves.
“Whatever happened at PSG was a different dynamic. It was an ego-fest. Messi, Neymar and Mbappe all wanted their biggest piece of the pie.
“This is just childish; at the end of the day, Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior, in particular, should just figure it out for themselves. You don’t need a big baby telling you somebody is a bad boy.”
What’s next for Real Madrid?
All three forwards should play important roles in Real Madrid’s Champions League defence, with Carlo Ancelotti’s men starting with a home clash with Stuttgart on Tuesday night.
