I'm ecstatic. Very honestly, all our people deserve it: our parents, the fans, those who supported us every single day, and well, here we are: Champions of Europe, we're so happy, and hopefully, we carry on like this with the national team, and it's onto the World Cup,' he told EURO 2024.

The youngster, who featured in all six of Spain's matches en route to the final, was in scintillating form throughout the tournament, netting two goals and providing one assist.

And the man of the match in the final was bullish about his side's chances of dominating world football in the years to come.

The truth is no one can handle us. As I said, we went at them from the beginning, we are a great team, and look, these guys deserve it, that's the truth,' he declared.
