Pulse Sports reported that Nigeria is paired in group B with Niger Republic, Burkina Faso, and Togo, while hosts, Ghana will slug it out with Benin Republic and Cote d'Ivoire in group A.
Nigeria's Ajakaye scored a hat-trick as the Falconets mercilessly humiliated Niger in their opening game of the tournament.
In the fourth minute, she gave the Falconets the lead, and nine minutes later, she made it 2-0.
After Mercy Kalu had given us a 3-0 lead going into halftime, she finished off her hat trick in the 53rd minute.
Adaobi Okah made it 5-0 for the side from the penalty spot, while Victoria Alani and Chioma Olise finished off the Falconets' sweep in 64 and 90 minutes, respectively.

Danjuma, who steered the Nigerian girls to the last eight of last year’s World Cup in Costa Rica, picked goalkeeper Inyene Etim, defenders Comfort Folorunsho and Jumoke Alani, midfielders Chioma Olise and Blessing Emmanuel, and forwards Omowunmi Bello and Goodness Osigwe.
Also part of the team is Taiwo Afolabi, Comfort Folorunsho, Opeyemi Ajakaye, and Blessing Emmanuel, who are part of Nigeria's U-17 girls’ team that won bronze medals at last year’s FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup finals in India.
