The Super Eagles, seeking to end their three-game winless streak, will be aiming to start their campaign on a positive note.

The Udinese shot-stopper, who has been in impressive form in Serie A this season, is eyeing a return to the number one spot for the national team.

Okoye emphasised the significance of securing a win in this crucial encounter.

"It's important we win because this is an important AFCON qualifier. We have to be at our best and play at our highest level. What is most important is the victory for the team and Nigeria," the Udinese goalkeeper said.

Meanwhile, Rohr and his Cheetahs arrived in Uyo at 6:11 PM on a Sky Line flight from Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. Upon their arrival, the team proceeded to their assigned camp after obtaining clearance from the Nigeria Immigration Service.
