Giant striker Toluwalase Arokodare used the occasion of his vacation to have a good time with Afrobeat sensation Rema in Belgium.
Nigerian forward Toluwalase Arokodare has taken to social media to share a link up with Afrobeat sensation Divine Ikubor, known by his stage name Rema.
Arokodare, who plays for Belgian side Genk in the Juliper, met the Nigerian music star during a show in Belgium.
Arokodare and Rema meet
In what was a link-up between football and music, the two Nigerians met after the Mavin star thrilled fans at his show,
Rema s currently on a tour of seven countries and was in Belgium where he performed at the Les Ardentes.
The Les Ardentes is a Belgian multi-day electro-music festival which takes place yearly in the Belgian city of Liege.
Rema and Omah Lay are the two Nigerians in a star-studded lineup of performers for the 2023 edition of the show.
Following their link-up, the striker presented a package with his name and number to Rema, with the Nigerians hugging in the end.
Arokodare at Genk
Last season ended on a sad note for the 22-year-old striker and his Genk following an end-of-season collapse.
The giant forward joined the club in January from Ligue 2 side Amiens, scoring two goals in 11 appearances.
However, Genk ended the season without a title after losing on the final day of the season dramatically to Yusuf Alhassan’s Royal Antwerp.
