Arsenal loanee Arthur Okonkwo reveals plans for the future after impressive goalkeeping display for Sturm Graz
Nigerian goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo made a statement on his future after an impressive competitive debut for Sturm Graz on Friday.
The 21-year-old joined Austrian club Sturm Graz on loan from Arsenal in January and played his first competitive game for the club in an OFB Cup game against Salzburg.
Okonkwo was the hero as Sturm Graz won 5-4 on penalties to knock out Salzburg after the regulation time had ended 1-1.

After his heroics on his debut, Okonwo was faced with immediate inquisition into his plans for the future which he addressed with a direct statement.

When asked if he's continuing with Sturm Graz beyond the summer, Okonkwo told Laola1, "I'm not sure at the moment."
"I'll wait until the season is over, try to win more games with this team and then we'll see what happens in the summer," Okonkwo said.
The young goalkeeper reiterated that his focus is with Sturm Graz but he still has his heart set on returning to England to challenge for a spot at Arsenal.

"One day I want to become Arsenal's number one," Okonkwo said in a recent interview with Goal and it appears that ambition has not changed.
The Hale End Academy graduate spent the first half of the season on loan at Crewe Alexandra where he kept 10 clean sheets in 26 matches across all competitions for the League Two club.
