The 2013 World Cup hero confirmed his return to action from an undisclosed injury in a post on his Instagram page.

He said, “We may encounter many defeats, but we must not be defeated. It’s a pleasure to be back on what gives me happiness. God over everything.”

Alampasu played a key role in Nigeria’s successful 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup campaign in the United Arab Emirates, earning the Golden Glove award for the best goalkeeper as the Golden Eaglets secured their fourth title.

However, his career at the club level has been inconsistent, with stints at Feirense, Cesarense, Ventspils, FK Jelgava, and Pietà Hotspurs.
