Nigeria's U-17 women's team, the Flamingos, have been paired with Algeria in the final qualifying round for the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.

The pairing was confirmed after Algeria defeated Botswana 4-0 in the second leg of the second round, advancing 5-2 on aggregate.

Meanwhile, the Flamingos, led by coach Bankole Olowookere, secured their spot in the final qualifying round with a 2-0 win over South Africa in the second leg, advancing 5-1 on aggregate.
