“Why City sold Cole Palmer? Everyone at City, they knew how good Cole is. The only problem is that having so many players there.
“It’s difficult to give all of them minutes, so no one at City thought that Cole was not good enough, no doubt,” Maresca told TNT.
Palmer signed a nine-year contract with Chelsea in August which will be valid until at least June 2033. Since Joining Chelsea, Palmer has scored 29 goals in 44 appearances for the London side.
