Pau Victor and Dani Olmo have been taken off Barcelona's list of registered players by La Liga after the team missed a deadline.
Olmo’s situation
Barcelona ambitiously signed Olmo from Leipzig last summer in a €58 million deal but were unable to register him, as they had no room in their wage bill.
They had a stroke of luck when Andreas Christensen sustained a long-term injury, and LALIGA's rules permitted them to inscribe him using the Dane’s space on the system.

However, with the former Chelsea star's return, Barcelona were faced with a race against time to register Olmo before the second half of the season. They failed.
Barcelona believe they can still push it through and have been working hard to bring in additional finances which will allow them ample room to make the registration.
What Bara said
With the knowledge of Barcelona's financial situation, Olmo's representatives worked in a clause in his deal that would allow him to leave as a free agent should the Blaugrana be unable to register him.
With that being the case, multiple clubs are keeping abreast of the situation, looking to snap up the EURO 2024 winner, but Bara has stated clearly he trusts Barcelona to resolve the situation.

“Other options or clubs? Barcelona is the FIRST and LAST option,” Bara told Fabrizio. “Dani, his father, family, me… we’re not thinking about other options.”
“We are not negotiating with any club. Dani is Barça player and he wants to be a Barça player, he did big efforts in his life to be at Barcelona. It was his desire for long time.
"I believe that Barça will finalize everything and make it happen. La Liga should help them, instead of these reports of Dani not available for the national team… but I’m sure will be at Barça for many years, happy at the club and with Dani’s desire to be there."
