Shabana’s poor run of form continued as Bandari beat them to extend their losing run to three straight matches, adding pressure on their coach Sammy Okoth
Shabana’s poor run of form continued when they lost 2-1 to Bandari in a Football Kenya Federation Premier League match at the Mbaraki Sports Complex in Mombasa on Sunday.
In what was their third straight loss, Shabana had no answer for the hosts who took the lead after 26 minutes when Derrick Nsibambi broke the deadlock and they held on for 1-0 lead at the break.
Bandari kept attacking and were rewarded with the second goal in the second half when defender Andrew Juma scored in the 64th minute to kill off any hopes of a Shabana comeback.

FKFPL Sam Okoth on why he remains at Shabana despite tendering resignation
Okoth has appeared to hint that Shabana officials are keeping him in charge of the club against his will.
John Baraza’s men kept attacking and could have easily increased their lead were it not for some poor finishing.
However, Tore Bobe summoned some energy and reduced the arrears four minutes from time, when Nehemiah ‘Neymar’ Onchiri scored to set up a frantic finish.
However, the home side were undeterred and held firm for the three precious points which sees them move to sixth on the table with 16 points.

FKFPL Murang'a Seal sip Tusker as Kakamega Homeboyz cruise past Muhoroni Youth
Tusker suffered their fifth loss of the season at the hands of Seal, while Muhoroni failed to capitalize on their home ground advantage against Kakamega Homeboyz.
Defeat increased pressure on Shabana coach Sammy Okoth who had resigned last weekend, before rescinding his decision, and has now watched his team lose three straight matches, conceding seven goals while scoring just once over that period.
Shabana fans had already called for Okoth’s sacking following their 4-0 thrashing by Ulinzi Stars last weekend and even though he has stayed on, the 1-0 loss to Gor Mahia in midweek and the defeat to Bandari will see that chorus increase.
Following the loss, Tore Bobe have now slipped to the bottom of the 18-team table with seven points from 11 matches after winning just one, drawing four and losing five.
