On the other hand, Simba outwitted Guinean champions AC Horoya and Vipers to finish second behind Raja Casablanca.
The other quarterfinalists are defending champions Wydad Casablanca, Esperance from Tunisia, JS Kabylie and CR Belouizdad (both from Algeria).
