Saudi delegates have reportedly arrived in England to rekindle negotiations with Liverpool for Mohammed Salah.
Despite the close of the European transfer window, Saudi Professional League side Al-Ittihad are reportedly insistent on landing Mohammed Salah and have sent a delegation to England in an attempt to convince the Reds.
What has happened?
The inflow of cash into the SPL after the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund (PIF) acquired the 'big four' teams in the land has fostered a number of bizarre transfer moves, with top players in European Leagues opting for the Gulf.

Al-Ittihad, the SPL champions of last season and one of the four teams acquired by PIF, landed Ballon d'Or holder Karim Benzema and Premier League legend N'golo Kante.
They do not seem willing to stop there, as they are keen on landing Salah from Liverpool. During the transfer window, they had a bid worth around £150 million rejected, and although the European window has closed, the SPL can still do transfer business until September 7th, the league's stipulated transfer deadline. They have reportedly returned to attempt to prise the Egyptian away from Anfield.
Saudi delegates arrive for Salah
According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool's public 'not for sale' stance on Mohammed Salah has not discouraged Al-Ittihad, and they are still actively trying to get the deal done.
Per the reports, a delegation from the oil-rich state arrived in England on Saturday to rekindle negotiations with Liverpool for Salah.

Liverpool icon Mohamed Salah has been spotted leaving the club's training ground amid claims that Saudi club Al-Ittihad have made an improved offer for the winger.
Having already had a bid of around £150 million rejected, the party is said to be willing to go as high as £200 million to tempt Liverpool.
It remains to be seen if the Reds will bulge, as Salah's performance in the 3-0 win against Aston Villa this past weekend, in which he scored, could further strengthen their resolve.
