Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed that he does not plan to retire from football anytime soon, despite his age.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has constantly been at the top of his game for Al Nassr and is the club's highest goalscorer.

The 39-year-old also recently broke the internet with his official YouTube channel, hitting 1 million subscribers in an hour.

Ronaldo on retirement 

Cristiano Ronaldo has addressed speculation about his retirement, claiming he is not ready to leave the pitch.

The Portuguese spoke with Rio Ferdinand on his new YouTube channel and confirmed that he isn’t retiring anytime soon.

Ronaldo's announcement coincides with rumours that he may announce his retirement shortly, especially in light of Portugal's quarterfinal defeat in the UEFA Euros. 

He did, however, state that he wanted to play for Portugal in the next Nations League games under manager Roberto Martinez.

Ronaldo has a remarkable record since joining Al Nassr, the forward has played 68 games, scoring 62 goals and providing 17 assists.

Despite being 39 years old, he is still looking to continue playing football as long as he feels he can go and not planning on retirement.
