Barcelona released an official statement saying João Félix will not continue with the club next season.
João Félix was brought in on loan by Barcelona last summer transfer window after being surplus to the Atletico Madrid team.
The Portuguese made 44 appearances, scoring 10 goals and providing six assists during his loan spell at Barcelona.
However, he is set to return to Atletico Madrid after Barcelona failed to include an option for a permanent transfer in his loan clause.

Felix's return to Atletico Madrid has been backed by an official statement which Barcelona has released.
According to Fabrizio Romano on X, Barcelona's official statement, “João Félix, not to continue with Barça. Thank you, João. Loan move from Atletico Madrid expires today.”
The forward loan deal with Barcelona has expired today and will be returning to the Spanish giants.
The Spanish giants have thanked him for his service and wished him a better future at his next club.
Felix will be looking to get a new club ahead of next season and could leave Atletico on another loan deal.
The forward is currently with the Portuguese team at the Euro as they face Slovenia in the round of 16.
