Remo Stars have continued with their dominance in the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season after recording their second away win of the season.

The clash between the former champions, Kano Pillars, and last season's runners-up, proved to be a mouth-watering encounter for the fans.

The Sky Blue Boys defeated Kano Pillars at home 2-0 at the Muhammed Dikko Stadium in Katsina.

Super Eagles defender, Sodiq Ismail put the visitor in front in the 26th minute after his volley went past the goalkeeper to record his second goal of the season.

On the hour mark, Franck Mawuena doubled the lead for Remo Stars to record their second away victory of the season.

Earlier on, it was a thrilling match as El-Kanemi Warriors defeated Nasarawa United in a seven-goal thriller, despite Anas Yusuf's hat-trick for the home side.

Kabir Abdullahi's late goal secured a victory for Rivers United over Lobi Stars, extending Finidi George's unbeaten run as manager of the Port Harcourt-based side.
