The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has sanctioned Katsina United after one of their players was spotted with an inappropriate dress.
Katsina United has been fined for improper display of their player's name and number during Matchday 11 against Sporting Lagos.
The game was settled courtesy of a lone goal by Clement Naantuam at the Mobolaji Jhonson Arena in Onikan.
Clement Naantuam broke from the left and evaded a sea of legs marking him before letting a low effort into the bottom right corner to give the Tech boys the goal that bagged all three points.

How it happened
The incident occurred in Lagos during a clash between Sporting Lagos and Katsina United. A player from Kaduna United was spotted wearing a jersey that had the footballer’s name and number written on paper and attached to the jersey.
For the dress code violation, the League body has ordered Katsina United to pay a fine of N1 million.
Also, Katsina United’s kits manager, Masudu Lawal, received a one-year ban from all NPFL activities for improper conduct.
The club is free to submit to the decisions or appear before a disciplinary commission for a review.
