Nigerian legend and Enyimba chairman Nwankwo Kanu is confident in the club's future as they look to reclaim their past glory.
Nigerian football legend and Chairman of Enyimba FC, Kanu Nwankwo, has expressed his confidence in the team's ability to achieve great things in the next season.
Kanu, a two-time African Footballer of the Year and Olympic gold medalist, took over as Chairman of Enyimba FC with a clear vision to restore the club to its former glory.
His leadership and experience have already made a positive impact on the team after leading the team to the title in the 2022/23 season before Rangers dethroned the People’s Elephant last season.

Kanu Nwankwo speaks on Enyimba’s future
"As a former player, I know what it takes to succeed at the highest level," Kanu said.
"I believe in this team and the talent we have. We've been working hard to strengthen our squad and improve our strategies, and I'm excited to see the results."
Enyimba FC, Nigeria's most successful and beloved football club, has a rich history of achievements, including multiple domestic and international titles.
With Kanu at the helm, the team is poised for a successful season ahead as they look to reclaim the crown from South East rivals, Rangers.
"We have improved all round and are committed to doing better," Kanu said.
"Our coaching staff, players, and entire management team are working together to achieve excellence. I'm confident that our fans will be proud of our accomplishments."
Kanu, who recently helped former club Arsenal unveil their new kit, emphasised the team's potential and promised that the fans would witness significant improvements in the next season.
"We will work tirelessly to ensure that Enyimba FC returns to its winning ways and cements its position as one of the top teams in the country," Kanu concluded.
"I'm excited for the future and I believe that together, we can achieve great things."
