Agu confirmed that Nwabali has established a reputation within the Super Eagles that could lead him to reach Enyeama's level.
Former Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Alloy Agu believes Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has what it takes to attain Vincent Enyeama’s height in the senior national team.
Nwabali made Nigerian history by keeping four consecutive clean sheets at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Nwabali’s record-breaking run surpasses Alloy Agu's previous Nigerian record of three straight clean sheets and equals Best Ogedegbe’s 44-year-old record.
Although the Super Eagles lost the final 2-1 to host Ivory Coast, the Chippa United goalkeeper was outstanding at the tournament.

'Desperate United' - Former league winner questions Finidi George, Rivers' integrity after controversial win
Finidi George and his Rivers United have been accused of being desperate for points after four matches without a win.
The former Nepa goalkeeper praised Nwabali for his impressive performance and confidence in goal, highlighting his ability to communicate effectively with the defence.
“Honestly speaking to you, there is a lot of work for him to do. And there is still room for improvement for him. Looking at Enyeama, you will understand that he has done so well for the Super Eagles. The records are there for us to see.
“Nwabali has also done well, and when you begin to compare him with Vincent Enyeama, then you have to look at the time, the game, and the competition. Notwithstanding, Nwabali has done well for himself and his country, the same with Enyeama.
“He has what it takes to reach that same level as Enyeama if he continues to maintain a high level of concentration on his game. Nwabali has shown lots of confidence in goal, and I admire his ability to communicate with the defence. Not to forget also that he has made some brilliant saves for the Super Eagles and kept some clean sheets as well.
