Remo stars are drawn in Group B alongside the defending champions, Delta Queens, former champions Rivers Angels, and Bayelsa Queens.
While Group B was described as group of death with Remo stars alongside the defending champions, Delta Queens, former champions Rivers Angels and Bayelsa Queens.
Others are, Sunshine Queens, Robo Queens, Edo Queens, Ekiti Queens and Delta Queens.
The NWFL board announced during the annual general assembly that the 2023-2024 season will kick-off on November 15 with Ekiti Queens and Delta Queens being the star match of the opening day.

Dannaz Ladies Team Manager, Ayodele Adenike, disclosed that her team will conquer the league, adding that there are numerous things they have changed since the team got promoted.

Women's Football Rising: The NWFL's Vision under Chairman Ms. Nkechi Obi
The NWFL, founded in 1990, is Nigeria's premier women's football league. It has played a pivotal role in developing the talents of female footballers in Nigeria.
She said, “I am very satisfied because I was even surprised that I am the one that picked the name of my team by myself in that group. And when you see that group, I know that my girls can do better, and I am very happy to be in that group.
“Seeing the teams we are going to play in the league, I know it is not going to be easy because we are first-timers, but I know with the work of my players and what they have put in for this league, I know they would do well in that group. I believe in them.
“Since we got this promotion, there are so many things we have been doing differently from what we have been doing before, which I know is helping them and I know it is still going to help them achieve their aim in this upcoming league tournament. The training they are getting now is different from before.”
