Leopards sit 17th in the table, putting them perilously in the relegation places just three points ahead of rock-bottom Sofapaka.
AFC Leopards vice captain Cliff Nyakeya has sent a message to Ingwe fans, pledging to do better in order to get out of their current predicament following the re-appointment of Tomas Trucha as head coach.
Leopards have failed to win any of their first six matches this season, as the management resorted to part ways with Tom Juma despite only appointing him in July following the departure of Patrick Aussems.
Ingwe decided to return to Tomas Trucha, who left in 2020 after just one month in charge, citing threats from fans claiming to be the management.

The Den is clearly not in the most conducive of states, but Nyakeya has reason to believe that things will get better for the 13-time league champions.
“It will get better, I am confident (about that),” Nyakeya told Pulse Sports.
“Unfortunately, we do not have time to allow us (to keep failing to win), but it will get better. We do not know where the next win will come, but we hope it will be soon.”

FKFPL Cliff Nyakeya's vow to end tumult in AFC Leopards
The Harambee Stars winger is optimistic that he can still turn up big for Ingwe as the season is still short.
Nyakeya has admitted that the players are equally hurting like the fans, which is inspiring them to want to get a win as soon as possible.
“We are working hard to get a win. The fans expect more and they deserve more from this team because we have quality players, so we need to deliver in order to make them happy.
“We are not different from fans, this is AFC. This is a big team, we must win every game because every game is a pressure game that must be won. The pressure does not come from the fans, it comes from the stature of the club.
