The encounter at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium saw Enyimba demonstrate renewed vigour under the leadership of new manager Stanley Eguma.
Joseph Atule was instrumental in the victory, scoring two goals, including the opening strike just six minutes into the match. Despite a quick equaliser from Black Bull, Enyimba regained the lead just before halftime with a stunning strike from Ifeanyi Ihemekwele.
In the second half, Ideye made his mark on the game in the 67th minute, netting a crucial goal that extended the lead to 3-1.
This moment was not only significant for the team but also for Ideye personally, as he embraced the occasion with enthusiasm.
Following the match, Ideye, who joined the People's Elephant as a free agent, truly celebrated his first goal, taking to social media to express his joy.

Atule capped off the remarkable performance with his second goal during added time, solidifying Enyimba’s dominant victory.
This win elevated Enyimba to four points in Group D of the Confederation Cup, placing them just one point behind Al Masry SC, who hold the second qualification spot.
With two matches remaining, the team is now positioned strongly to secure a spot in the knockout stages.
