Jordan Obita will return to England for the first time after crossing over to Hibernian, this time to face Aston Villa in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Jordan Obita came in the second half to help Scottish side Hibernian to a 2-2 draw away to Luzern in Switzerland in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League.

The Scottish side two-goal advantage from their 3-1 first-leg win in which the English-born Ugandan left-back scored.

Obita started from the bench but was brought at the hour-mark to replace Dylan Vente with the score tied at 1-all.

Shortly, the hosts went ahead through a Kemal Ademi header forcing Obita and the group to step up their efforts.

Obita saved the situation from getting worse with a timely clearance in the 67th minute to find Alie Youan.

The French forward made some side steps before laying in for Martin Boyle to tap in the equaliser.

The match ended 2-2, with the Scottish side winning 5-3 on aggregate and, therefore, advancing to the playoffs of the Conference League, where they’ll face English Premier League side Aston Villa.

Hibernian will host the first leg next Thursday, August 24th, before travelling to England a week later.

The winner of the match will advance to the group stages of the UEFA Europa Conference League.
