Transfer News: Chelsea turn to 28-goal Bundesliga striker after snubbing Osimhen
Chelsea have reportedly found a solution to their centre-forward problems after saying no to Napoli's Victor Osimhen.
The youngster is set to complete his move from Chelsea to Aston Villa in coming days after a deal was agreed by both parties.
Chelsea agree Villa deal
Chelsea have agreed on a deal with Aston Villa and the 22-year-old left-back will only need to accept personal terms to finalise the transfer.
According to Daily Mail, Aston Villa and Chelsea have reached an agreement for Ian Maatsen for around £35 million.
Dortmund had hesitated to fully fulfil Maatsen's £35 million release clause from his Chelsea deal.
That made room for others, and it is thought that Villa consented to pay a little more than that to obtain a more agreeable payment schedule.
However, the deal is yet to be completed as the player still needs to agree personal terms with Villa.
