FOOTBALL Watch: Allan Okello nets stunningly from a corner, to spark talks of featuring against KCCA
Earlier on Monday, Vipers revealed that Okello had neared his return from a knee rehabilitation, washing away initial communication that he wouldn't return until the Second round of the 2023/24 Uganda Premier League season.
"Allan Okello returned to full team training and in the squad to face KCCA FC," read a statement about Vipers' team news ahead of the hugely anticipated bout.
However, the Uganda Premier League champions further revealed that Okello will need a late fitness test to ascertain his entire presence.
"But (he) will face a late fitness test," the club summed on the left-footed playmaker.

UGANDA PREMIER LEAGUE Milton Karisa: Vipers captain expects tough opposition despite KCCA's woeful form
Even then, Karisa is still confident that his manned troops will be up to the task and will fight back, hoping to avenge last season's 1-0 loss at Lugogo.
His return coincides with arguably the biggest game between two of the most successful clubs in recent times.
Okello is a former KCCA player who graduated from Kibuli Secondary School and the club's junior ranks, the KCCA FC Junior Team.
He established himself as a darling at the club following a hugely successful first stint before he left for Algeria's Paradou AC.
That was before he returned last season with the Kasasiro Boys on loan from Paradou, a side that terminated the remainder of his contract, eventually choosing Vipers ahead of KCCA.
