Real Madrid put out an official communication to deny negotiations with Kylian Mbappe.
LALIGA giants Real Madrid have shut down rumours that claim they are in negotiations with France international Kylian Mbappe over signing him on a free transfer next summer.
The 25-year-old is a long-time target of Los Blancos and was close to joining them last summer when his PSG contract was set to expire. However, in a decision that shocked the football world, Mbappe opted to remain in the French capital, putting pen to paper for a new deal.

Real Madrid’s statement
Given the forward’s contract situation, reports surfaced in the last few days claiming the 13-time Champions League winners have entered into negotiations with Mbappe’s camp with plans to sign him on a free transfer in the summer.

The club deemed it pertinent to address the rumours; hence, they put out the following statement via their official channels:
“Given the information recently issued and published by different media outlets in which there is speculation about alleged negotiations between the player Kylian Mbappé and our club, Real Madrid CF would like to state that this information is completely false and that no such negotiations have taken place. with a player who belongs to PSG.”
Meanwhile, Real Madrid ace Jude Bellingham was named the winner of the Kopa trophy during the Ballon d'Or ceremony.
