Ugandan pair Joackim Ojera, on loan from URA FC and forward Musa Esenu, who featured in the game, were on hand to win their first silverware at the club.
Ojera has been in impressive form for 'Gikundiro', putting up man-of-the-match performances in several games, including claiming one player of the month award.

The win earned Rayon Sports their 11th peace Cup title in the club's history, and they will now represent Rwanda in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
