Ojera's strike gave Gikundiro the lead in the 22nd minute before Djuma Lawrence levelled for the visitors in the 72nd minute for the game to end all square at the Kigali Regional Stadium.
Ugandan International Joackim Ojera is enjoying every bit of his loan move from URA to Rwanda Premier League side Rayon Sport.
The 25-year-old was on target again on Sunday, 12th March, during Rayon Sport's 1-1 draw against AS Kigali.
Ojera's strike gave Gikundiro the lead in the 22nd minute before Djuma Lawrence levelled for the visitors in the 72nd minute for the game to end all square at the Kigali Regional Stadium.
The goal was Ojera's third this season in as many games for his side since his loan switch from URA FC in January.
Ojera also plays alongside compatriot Musa Esenu, and the forward has managed four league goals so far.
Rayon Sport now sits third on 46 points, three behind table leaders APR FC after 23 games played.
Similarly, Erisa Ssekisambu featured for Kiyovu FC as they earned a hard-fought 2-1 win over Enticelles FC.
They now sit second on 47 points, two behind leaders APR.
Next up for Ojera and Esenu's side is an away trip to face Rwamagana City FC on 18th March, while Ssekisambu and Muzamiru Mutyaba's Kiyovu FC host Gorilla FC on the same day.
