Confusion has rocked the appointment of former Harambee Stars head coach Stanley Okumbi as the new Mathare United special technical advisor.
News of the appointment had been released by the club through a statement published on their official social media pages saying that Okumbi will take up the role alongside their former player Collins Korea Omondi.

Samuel Koko believes Mathare United can survive relegation.
Korea is familiar to the club as he helped lay the foundation for the club's promotion to the Premier League 25 years ago as he was part of the squad that won the 1998 Moi Golden Cup.
He also coached the club in the infancy stages of his coaching career between 2014 and 2015, serving as an assistant to Okumbi.
