Osimhen shining for Galatasaray

Osimhen is currently having a sensational season for Galatasaray in the Super Lig, with 20 goals so far, which has helped the Cim-Bom maintain the top spot in the league.

Drogba scored 15 goals in 37 Super Lig games for Galatasaray; Van Persie scored 25 in 57 matches for Fenerbahce; Gomis scored 46 in 71 matches for Galatasaray, and unlike the aforementioned two, won the golden boot.

Aside from the goals, the three players were tremendously impactful in Turkey. Still, Nihat believes Osimhen ranks higher in terms of impact, as he joined the league in his prime years, unlike Drogba, Van Persie and Gomis, who all signed in their twilight.

What Nihat said

"Stars like Drogba, Gomis, Mario Gomez, Van Persie came to our country, but none of them could contribute as much in such a short time as Osimhen,” Nihas said.

“Because they came in the last stages of their careers. Osimhen joined Galatasaray at the age of 26 when his market value was 100 million euros."

Meanwhile, Osimhen's current going price is €75 million, and while Galatasaray are making an effort to keep him at the club, it is unlikely they can match that price. He has been linked with moves to Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal
