Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has delivered the latest update regarding Victor Osimhen's move away from Napoli.
Victor Osimhen is still expected to leave Napoli this summer, despite delays and setbacks.
Napoli's insistence on the full release clause of 120 million euros has hindered the deal, with willing clubs refusing to pay that amount for the 25-year-old Nigerian striker.

Osimhen to Chelsea still on
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has updated on the situation, revealing that there are no new developments, but both parties are still working on an exit. Romano also denied reports that Chelsea have dropped out of the running, tweeting:
"Chelsea have never left the race for Victor Osimhen, despite reports this month.
"Interest has always been and remains there, but Osimhen’s still only open to leaving only on permanent transfer and not reducing his salary. No changes so far."
The transfer window closes on August 30 at 11PM, leaving just over two weeks for a deal to be finalised.
Osimhen's stance on a permanent transfer and maintaining his salary may yet see the striker remain in Naples.
A resolution will be crucial for all parties involved as the deadline approaches.
