Galatasaray's attacking lineup is set to change with Osimhen's arrival. Find out how the Super Eagles striker will be utilised and how he'll impact the team's tactics.
Victor Osimhen has finally found a way out of Napoli, at least on a temporary basis, after sealing a loan move to Turkish giants Galatasaray.
The Nigerian striker had his heart set on a move to Chelsea but after the Blues reportedly made several derisory contract offers, the deal fell through, leaving all parties in a state of confusion as the window closed.
Napoli boss Antonio Conte made it crystal clear that Osimhen was no longer in his plans, and to rub salt in the wound, new signing Romelu Lukaku scored on his debut, vindicating Conte's decision.
Now, with Osimhen joining up with Galatasaray, how will he fit into coach Okan Buruk's tactics?

How Galatasaray could line up with Osimhen
Galatasaray manager, Buruk, is known for his tactical flexibility, often switching between a 4-2-3-1 and a more aggressive 4-4-2 formation, particularly at home.
Fortunately, Osimhen's experience playing as a lone striker for the Super Eagles and Napoli in various formations (4-2-3-1, 4-3-3, and 4-4-2) means he'll have no problem adapting.
With his unique skillset, Osimhen will likely slot straight into the starting lineup, potentially alongside Mauro Icardi or even replacing him.
While Icardi's impressive goal-scoring record (32 goals in 47 appearances last season) makes it harsh to suggest he'll be benched, playing both Osimhen and Icardi together could be the best option for Buruk, making Galatasaray even more dangerous.
One thing is clear: Jose Mourinho and Fenerbahce will face a much tougher challenge of winning the Turkish League with Osimhen on board.
