Napoli’s Sporting Director Giovanni Manna has called off the planned transfer of Victor Osimhen to Galatasaray.
Osimhen has been a hot cake for top European teams in the transfer market but failed to seal a big-money move in the summer.
His failed move led him to Turkish side Galatasaray, who signed him on a season loan deal from Napoli.
Since his move, he has made a tremendous impact on the team, with the club looking to make his move permanent.

Napoli say no to Galatasaray
Napoli's Sporting Director has informed Galatasaray that they do not have the funds to sign Osimhen, leaving Jose Mourinho’s team the chance to swoop in.
According to Webaslan, Manna said, “Our door is closed to negotiations. Galatasaray does not have the budget to pay this amount at this moment.
“The fee is €75 million; there are many teams that want Osimhen. They are ready to pay this amount.”
He said that because they don't have the money to complete the sale, they have ended talks with Galatasaray.
The news comes as a boost for Fernabache, who are preparing to challenge Galatasaray for the Super Eagles stars signature.
Osimhen’s brilliant performances have also caught the attention of other teams in Europe as they consider signing the Napoli star.
Osimhen has made nine appearances for the Super Lig champions this season, scoring eight goals and having four assists.
Meanwhile, Osimhen is now with the Super Eagles team as they prepare for their AFCON qualifiers against Rwanda and Benin Republic.
