Nigeria and Super Eagles winger Moses Simon has been celebrated by his compatriots led by the NFF.

Nigerian international and Nantes winger Moses Simon has reached a significant career milestone, making his 150th appearance in the French Ligue 1.

The achievement has been celebrated by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Nigerians, highlighting the player's consistent performances since joining Nantes from Levante in 2019.

Simon marked the occasion in style during Nantes' 1-1 draw against Angers over the weekend as reported by Naija Stars Abroad. The Super Eagles star provided a crucial assist, which not only contributed to the result but also etched his name in the club's history books.

With this assist, Simon surpassed Emiliano Sala's record, becoming Nantes' all-time leading assist provider with 29 to his name.

Well done, Moses Simon.

The 29-year-old's impact at Nantes extends beyond his assist tally. He has also netted 27 goals for Les Canaris, showcasing his dual threat as both a creator and finisher.

Simon's 150 appearances place him fifth among Nigerian players with the most Ligue 1 appearances, behind football legends Victor Ikpeba (170), Taye Taiwo (191), Wilson Oruma (196), and John Utaka (239).

With the Africa Cup of Nations on the horizon, Simon's form could prove crucial for the Super Eagles' campaign.
