The Al Duhail forward seems not to have been impressed by the Genge rapper’s comment, reigniting the duo’s Twitter feud from last year.

Harambee Stars captain Michael Olunga has fired back at musician Jua Cali following his online jibe directed at comedian Njugush on Sunday.

Jua Cali was among the online top trending names on Monday after he made what some considered to be a disrespectful remark towards the comedian, terming him ‘not funny.”

“Njugush ni boy wangu but hakuna comedian hapo not funny at all. (Njugush is my boy but there is no comedian there, not funny at all),” the Genge rapper posted on Twitter.

However, those comments have seen a section of fans come to the comedian’s defence, calling out the veteran musician for trying to ‘bring down’ a fellow artist.

Joining the chorus of condemnation is Olunga who termed Jua Cali’s comment an ‘outright low.’

“Coming for people's thrones after they've risen through the ranks. Outright low,” Olunga posted on Twitter.

Olunga has also been on the end of one of Jua Cali’s not-so-good comments when on September 10, 2022, the striker posted a short video of him scoring a hat-trick for his team Al Duhail SC in Qatar.

The former Kashiwa Reysol forward scored a hat-trick as Al Duhail defeated Qatar Sporting Club 3-0 in the Qatar Stars League (QSL) on September 9.

Replying to the clip, Jua Cali wrote: “Buda unacheza na mafala. (You play against stupid people).”

The comment also saw Jua Cali receive a backlash from Olunga’s fans and the striker seems not to have gotten over it going by his latest comment.

Olunga, who scored 22 goals to lead Al Duhail to the league title last season, is back with the club for preseason and is set to travel with the team to Austria for their training camp later this month.
