Following the 1-0 defeat to Brazil, Agu acknowledged the Falcons' impressive performance despite the result.
"The Super Falcons were impressive against Brazil despite losing 1-0. In football, it's either you win or lose. And it's so unfortunate that the team narrowly lost to Brazil," he told Complete sports.

Agu emphasised the importance of learning from the Brazil match and strategising for the upcoming game against World Champions Spain.
"With that result, we have to go back to the drawing board for them to see what they need to do well in the next game against Spain," he stated.
