Harambee Stars head coach Engin Firat has named a strong starting line up for their Cameroon reclash at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Namboole, Uganda on Monday as he aims at getting his side back on track in the quest to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Firat has decided to drop Patrick Matasi to the bench, with Byrne Omondi returning to the starting line up. Joseph Okumu starts alongside Johnstone Omurwa, who also makes a return, with Daniel Anyembe starting as the right back.
Michael Olunga starts amid his fitness problem, with John Avire also coming into the line up, with Duke Abuya set to occupy the number ten position.
Teddy Akumu starts alongside his usual partner in crime Richard Odada, while Erick ‘Marcelo’ Ouma starts as left back.
