This decision follows a turbulent period for the French midfielder, who recently saw his four-year ban for failing an anti-doping test reduced to 18 months.

Pogba tested positive for testosterone in September 2023, leading to a lengthy suspension from all football-related activities.

Despite successfully appealing the initial ban and becoming eligible to play in March, both parties have decided to go their separate ways.

Juventus confirmed the news in a short statement, wishing Pogba well in his professional future. The 31-year-old expressed his gratitude to the club and fans, stating that his time in Turin was a "privilege" and that he would "cherish the memories".

The Frenchman’s return to the Bianconeri in 2022 after a six-year spell at Manchester United was marred by injuries and off-field issues.

He made only nine appearances for the club before his suspension.

What next for Pogba?

Despite the challenges, Pogba has expressed his desire to continue playing at the highest level and is reportedly targeting a move to a club competing in the Champions League.

His future remains uncertain, but with his ban significantly reduced, he will be free to join a new team and resume his career in the coming months.
