Iwobi speaks about music career
Iwobi has maintained that he is still focused on football despite supporters' suggestions that music is his backup option.
The midfielder responded to the rumours about his second career in an exclusive interview with Making of Champions, saying that although he enjoys creating music, it is not a distraction from his football career.
Iwobi said, “No, I am just living life. I don’t know if I am preparing for life after football, I am just living my life. So, people can say what they want.
The 28-year-old attacking midfielder clarified that while his music helps him relax and disconnect from the demands of playing professional football, it does not lessen his dedication to the sport.
Iwobi's first song, "Don't Shoot," featuring fellow football players Chuba Akpom and Medy Elito, earned positive feedback and received about 60,000 Spotify plays.
His most recent song, "What's Luv?" honours Afro-Swing and Rap alongside his close friends and up-and-coming musicians.
