Peter Drury to become new voice of the Premier League after Martin Tyler's exit

UK Television Broadcasters Sky Sports have announced that Peter Drury will join the organisation to cover the Premier League following the departure of Martin Tyler.

The legendary Martin Tyler, 77, had been the lead commentator for Sky Sports since the Premier League began in 1992 becoming one of football's most famous voices and he will now leave the organisation after 33 years of service.

Peter Drury who previously worked at ITV, BBC, and BT Sport will now take over from Tyler and he has revealed he is excited about the opportunity.

"To be working on the best games week in, week out with a broadcaster that has told the Premier League story since the very beginning feels like the opportunity of my career and I can't wait to get started," he said.
