Super Eagles legend Mutiu Adepoju has given new head coach Eric Chelle tactical advice to help Nigeria conquer Rwanda in their World Cup qualification crunch tie.
As Nigeria's Super Eagles prepare to face Rwanda in a crucial World Cup qualifier on Friday, former captain Mutiu Adepoju has offered tactical advice to head coach Eric Chelle.
With the team's qualification hopes hanging by a thread, Adepoju believes it's not the right time to introduce a new tactical approach.

'Africa's best team Super Eagles have too much quality to miss World Cup' - Chelle's successor Saintfiet
The man who replaced Eric Chelle in Mali believes it will be a big shock for Nigeria's Super Eagles not to be at the 2026 FIFA World Cup as the team has too much quality.
The Super Eagles have struggled so far, with just three points from four matches. Chelle, who took charge of the team recently, has a preferred diamond formation, which he used successfully with Mali at the last Africa Cup of Nations. However, Adepoju thinks it would be unwise to adopt this approach immediately.
"A system like that will be a little bit strange to the players and the fans as well," Adepoju told Afrik-Foot.

"The system we are used to is playing from the wings, having the ball all the time, and having players that can take it from the wings. It might take time to understand, but it depends on the players."
"I think the coach just needs to bring something that is familiar to the players and play well in the game we have at hand," he said.
The Super Eagles have two must-win games coming up - against Rwanda on Friday and Zimbabwe next Tuesday.
With their World Cup qualification hopes on the line, Chelle will be hoping to make a winning start with his new team.
