New Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has started work in his new role and is planning showdown talks with an important member of the squad.
Chelsea defender Levi Colwill will hold talks with new boss Mauricio Pochettino imminently to decide his future at the club.
Chelsea duo Colwill & Pochettino set for talks
Colwill spent last season on loan at Premier League overachievers Brighton and was hugely impressive for the Seagulls as they qualified for the Europa League for the first time.
The 20-year-old made 17 PL appearances and was particularly influential in the second half of the season as Brighton finished sixth to qualify for the Europa League.
Brighton have already had one bid for Colwill rejected immediately by Chelsea and are expected to return with an improved offer.
According to Mirror Football, Pochettino wants to keep hold of the England Under-21 international but will speak to the defender before making a decision on his Chelsea future.
