Some fans crossed the line by allegedly directing racist remarks at Raphinha and 17-year-old Yamal, as both of the players were excellent during the game.

The incident at Bernabeu Stadium drew widespread condemnation from football authorities and fans.

Both LaLiga and the Spanish Supreme Sports Council (CSD) have denounced the racist behaviour.

The National Police of Spain reported in a post on platform X on Saturday that the racists have been arrested.

"Three (people were) arrested for uttering racist insults against two football players during the El Clasico match played last October.

"Those arrested made xenophobic statements that violated the dignity and moral integrity of both footballers.

The Higher Sports Council (CSD) and LaLiga condemned the incidents.

"LaLiga will immediately report the racist insults and gestures received by Barcelona players to the Hate Crimes Section of the National Police Information Brigade, as well as informing the Coordinating Prosecutor of the Hate Crimes and Discrimination Unit of the State Attorney General's Office," LaLiga said in a statement.

Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 4-0 during the clash in October.
