The Law Enforcers are coming from a 1-0 win over Kakamega Homeboyz.
Kenya Police FC head coach Francis Baraza has predicted a tough game against Nzoia Sugar FC when they meet in Thursday’s Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) match at the Sudi Stadium.
Police will face the Sugar Millers in Round 20 just four days after playing Kakamega Homeboyz at Bukhungu, where they emerged 1-0 victors.
Baraza believes his side will be ready to face their opponents but foresees a possibility of a challenging game against Nzoia.
“I predict a callous game against Nzoia, who are in a good position on the league table. Salim Babu’s outfit is composed of excellent and versatile young players.
When playing at home, Nzoia are a tough nut to crack, so we have to work on our weak points that I saw in the match against Homeboyz, and we will be ready for the harrowing encounter," said Baraza.
Both teams will face each other, with Police aiming to complete a double against the Sugar Millers, whom they beat 2-0 at Nyayo Stadium. In that game, Fortune Omoto and Duke Abuya were on the scoresheet.
The Law Enforcers are currently placed fourth on the league standings with 34 points from 18 matches played this season.
Nzoia Sugar, on their side, are fifth on the log with the same number of points though they have played one game more.
The Sugar Millers fell 1-0 to Bandari FC in their last league match on Sunday, and they will be aiming to keep their campaign back on track after going four games without a win.
